John "Bobby" McGhee joined Absolute Home Loan Services in 2008 as a Loan Originator after a successful career in the mortgage lending and automobile industry. Bobby came to us from Aegis Lending, and prior to that he was with The Courtesy Group of Auto Dealers as a Sales and Finance Manager. He brings a vast knowledge of sales, communication, and customer service skills that adds tremendous value to our team. Bobby's vast knowledge of loan programs as well as which lenders do the best job for a specific loan need, make him the "go to" guy for many of our team members. He has excellent trouble-shooting skills during the underwriting process, stays on top of contract deadlines and effectively communicates with all parties during the process to ensure all expectations are met. Bobby's realtors and clients always refer others to him, and the majority of his closings are referral based. He says his favorite part of the transaction is watching families fulfill their home ownership dreams, and he will always do whatever it takes to ensure his clients are happy with their final result.

Bobby was born and lived in Maryland for 19 years, but also lived in Alaska and Oregon prior to moving to Florida in 1989. He was a single father for many years, and now enjoys time with his grandsons. His hobbies include weightlifting, 80's music and movies, and watching football.
